Reporting a vulnerability
Report a suspected security vulnerability in a Bytesafe product, including the command-line tools, to security@bytesafe.dev. Do not include it in a support request or a public issue.
Security updates for command-line tools
Bytesafe publishes security fixes for its command-line tools, bsfw for the Dependency Firewall and the Observer CLI for SBOM Observer, in new versions of each tool, free of charge. Older versions are not patched separately: to receive a fix, update to the latest version.
Fixes are published for at least five years after a version is released, including when a newer version has replaced it.
This is the support period described in the EU Cyber Resilience Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/2847).
